Joseph Kilpatrick memorial

Joseph Kilpatrick, 78, passed away June 2, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

A celebration of life is at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Cedars, 520 Dewey Ave. in Poteau, with TJ Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery. Family visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at The Cedars.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; his son, Joseph Kilpatrick of Muldrow; his daughters Kristie Miller of Muldrow, Crystal Cormany of Shady Point, and Kathy Rahm and husband Anthony of Cameron; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; his brother, Lee Kilpatrick of Clayton; his sisters Wanda Tubbs of Wilburton, Nadine Hendershot of Clayton, Linda Kay of Tulsa and Norma Cecil of Tennessee; and numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Kilpatrick; nine siblings, Sarah (Goldie) Deaton, Rosella McCoy, Myrtle Moore, Pearl Kilpatrick, Lucille Kilpatrick, Arnold Kilpatrick, John Kilpatrick, Star Kilpatrick and Billy Al Kilpatrick; and two grandchildren.
