Lake Wister fishing report
Lake Wister fishing report for this week as elevation is still above normal with water temperatures clear and stained while fishing is good for bass and crappie.
Wister: March 14. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 60°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level) White bass fair on grubs and lipless baits around river channel and shallows. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, and main lake. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure and main lake. Report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Le Flore County.
