LeFlore County commissioners’ agenda for the regular business meeting at 9 a.m. Monday in the office of the board of county commissioners in the county courthouse.

Agenda:

  • Call to order.
  • Minutes of previous meeting(s).
  • Purchase orders / payroll (see attached list to be presented for payment).
  • Monthly fee reports.
  • Transfer of appropriations.
  • Blanket purchase orders.
  • New business.
  • Contract labor / service agreements / annual contracts.
  • Burn ban.
  • Consider and possibly approve designation of Kirsten LaRosa as an authorized signatory and removing Kelli Ford on LeFlore County Treasurer Account No. 213977 held at Central National Bank, Poteau, effective August 31, 2026.
  • Open and possibly award bid regarding 2-inch asphalt overlay project on approximately nine-tenths (0.9) mile of Walker Mountain Road to benefit LeFlore County Commissioner District 3.
  • Open and possibly award bid regarding the purchase of a ½-ton or larger first responder truck, including financing, to benefit Bokoshe Fire Department.
  • Consider and possibly approve resolution allowing County Treasurer to reinvest surplus of County Health Department funds for September 2026.
  • Discussion with possible action regarding the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Project Maintenance, Financing, and Right-of-Way Agreement for BR and APPRO Bundle Commissioner 2 & 3, Project No. J3-9341(004) CI; State Job No. 39341(04)(05)(06)(07), between the Board of County Commissioners of LeFlore County and the Department of Transportation of the State of Oklahoma.
  • Discussion with possible action regarding the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management EMPG 2025 Grant Agreement between the State of Oklahoma and LeFlore County, including the acceptance of grant funds in the amount of $300,000.00 for the purchase of equipment and a LeFlore County communication reboot.
  • Consider and possibly approve programming resolution for Project Number 26-CBRI-D1-RD-P102 related to improvements on Cowskin Road located in LeFlore County Commissioner District 2.
  • Adjourn.
