LeFlore County commissioner minutes from Monday’s meeting with Chairman Jamie Oliver presiding. Also, present were Vice- Chair Mike Parker, Member Josh Blaylock and County Clerk Kelli Ford.
The following action was taken by the board:
- Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve the minutes of regular meeting held July 27, 2026. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve purchase orders as presented. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Mike Parker to approve monthly fee reports as presented by the LeFlore County Health Department, Solid Waste and County Clerk. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve transfer of appropriation in the amount of $3,000 from FDTAL-2R Talihina Fire Department Lease/ Rental account to FDTAL-2 M&O account ($2,000) and FDTAL-3 Capital Outlay account ($1,000). Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Mike Parker to approve blanket purchase orders as presented and are on file in the Office of the County Clerk. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- New Business: None discussed.
- Contract Labor/ Service Agreements, Annual Contracts: None presented.
- Burn Ban: Not needed at this time. No discussion.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Mike Parker to approve resolution determining maximum monthly highway expenditures for August 2026. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Mike Parker to approve Treasurer’s Monthly Report of Officers for the month of July 2026. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Mike Parker and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve the LeFlore County Forest ASR Election designating 85% of the funds to Title I for public schools and roads and 15% of the funds to Title II for special projects. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Mike Parker to approve declaration of surplus of County owned inventory item D2-307.095, 2020 Caterpillar Motor Grader, serial number N9D01642, purchased April 20, 2020 in the amount of $216,601.60 to benefit LeFlore County Commissioner District 2. Motion carried, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve resolution and bid notice advertising to accept sealed bids for a 2 – inch asphalt overlay project on approximately nine – tenths (0.9) mile of Walker Mountain Road to benefit LeFlore County Commissioner District 3. Motion carried, all voting yes.
Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to adjourn. Motion was approved all voting yes, Oliver-yes, Parker-yes, Blaylock-yes.
