LeFlore County temperatures stay hot Thursday

LeFlore County will continue its hot late summer temperatures Thursday along with partly cloudy skies and a small chance of rain.

The high will be 88 with a low of 60. Average temperatures for Sept. 24 are a high of 82 and low of 54 while records for the date were a high of 90 in 1977 and a low of 43 in 1975.

Wednesday’s high was 91 with a low of 69. No rain was recorded, leaving the monthly total at 1.46 inches, well short of September’s average rainfall of 5.30 inches.
