LeFlore County weather forecast for Labor Day could feature a new record high for the day as the forecast calls for a high of 100, topping the previous record high of 99 for the date set in 1983. The record low for Sept. 7 was a brisk 45, set in 1976.
There is another heat advisory from noon until 7 p.m. So be careful, check on relatives and neighbors, drink lots of liquids and stay cool.
