Lynn Lavonne Pickworth obituary

Lynn Lavonne Pickworth of Hodgen was born Jan. 25, 1977. She left this life on April 10, 2026 and was carried by angels into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ.

A private family graveside service is 10 a.m. Thursday at the Stapp-Zoe Cemetery with Brother John Paul McAlester officiating. Burial will follow under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

She married her high school sweetheart and they were together for 33 years. They had two beautiful children who are now beautiful adults. 

Lynn worked as a nurse for 24 years and had enjoyed being a housewife for the past three years. She loved her home, enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, and reading books. Lynn showed her love to others by making jelly and gifting them to special people in her life. She was generous and giving with everything she had.

At her home, her presence can be seen everywhere. Her family will never be alone because she is everywhere we look. We will thank God everyday for the time we had with her.

Survivors are her husband of 33 years, Dusty Pickworth. of the home; one daughter Raegan Nicholson and husband Max of Wasilla, Alaska; one son Cody Pickworth and Kierra Ollar of Wister; her parents Jimmy and Lanna Wells of Zoe; her mother-in-law that she dearly loved:

Pam Turman, of Howe; four spoiled dogs that were her constant companions; numerous other loved ones and a host of friends whom loved her very much

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents,Tilford and Lavonne Reeves; paternal grandmother, Thema Wells; and an uncle, Charles Reeves.

Viewing is from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
