Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance has launched its Coats for Kids initiative for the second year, with agents across all 77 Oklahoma counties again working alongside communities to make sure no child faces the winter cold unprotected.

“As a result of the incredible community response we saw in our first year, we were able to donate more than 7,000 coats. We’re excited to expand our impact this winter,” said Greg Golden, vice president of sales and marketing for Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance. “Every coat donated is a reminder of what Oklahomans can accomplish when we look out for one another. We’re proud to once again stand alongside our neighbors to ensure every child stays warm.”

Whether you’re an OKFB member or a nonmember, a local business or a community partner, there are many ways to get involved. OKFB is accepting new winter coats for children of all ages, and anyone can drop off donations at any OKFB Insurance office.

Those who want to do more can contribute a tax-deductible financial donation to fund coat purchases, become a sponsor, or host a coat drive at their workplace, school or church.

New coats can be donated through Aug. 31 at any local OKFB Insurance office. To find out when events will take place nearby, follow OKFB on Facebook and Instagram and use #CoatsForKidsOKFB to share your donation story.
