SOUTHEAST

Blue River: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level). Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, spinnerbaits, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, coves, creek channels, river channel, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver and worms around brush structure, channels, and rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace.

Broken Bow: August 14. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on crankbaits and topwater lures around coves and points. Crappie fair on jigs and spoons around points and standing timber. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and stinkbait around coves and creek channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Hugo: August 14. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 89°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, channels, and standing timber. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, channels, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, and stinkbait around creek channels, main lake, and river channel. Report submitted by Chance Phillips, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: August 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 92°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around the main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped hybrid and white bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, and river channel. Channel catfish good on chicken liver and cut bait around inlet, riprap, rocks, and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork River: August 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 68°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on crickets, grasshoppers, tube jigs, and worms below the dam, creek channels, river channel, and spillway. Pine Creek: August 14. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 83°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and topwater lures around the main lake, points, and rocks. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and the main lake. Blue and channel catfish on cut bait around the main lake. Report submitted by Eric Barnes, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

McGee Creek: August 14. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 85°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, and jigs around brush structure, main lake, points, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish fair on live bait, sunfish, and worms around creek channels, main lake, and riprap. Crappie good on jigs, minnows, and small lures around the main lake and standing timber. Report submitted by Shay Loudermilk, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

Sardis: August 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 90°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around brush structure, channels, points, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

Texoma: August 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad, sassy shad, and slabs around channels, main lake, points, and river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, and punch bait below the dam, docks, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, rocks, and standing timber. Fishing this week has been okay. Striper are being caught on live shad and trolling sassy shad between the Roosevelt and railroad bridge, as well as near Washita Point and the islands. Catfish are being caught near baited holes and cleaning stations with punch bait and cut bait. Crappie are being caught around bridges with brush and round docks with brush piles. Wister: August 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 95°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on jigs and plastic baits around brush structure. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and hot dogs around channels. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Le Flore County.

NORTHEAST

Kaw: August 17. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 93°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on buzz baits, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around coves and rocks. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass good on cut bait, jigs, live bait, live shad, sassy shad, spoons, and topwater lures below the dam, main lake, points, and riprap. Paddlefish excellent snagging below the dam. Report submitted by Spencer Grace, game warden stationed in Kay County.

Keystone: August 17. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 81°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around brush structure and points. Blue and channel catfish excellent on cut bait, live shad, and shad around the dam and main lake. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and the main lake. Report submitted by Tracer Wagner, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois River: August 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 72°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, spoons, and worms below the dam, shallows, and shorelines. Fishing is fair when there is no current from generation. Report submitted by Jerry Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Spavinaw: August 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 79°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits around the main lake and points. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Channel catfish slow on cut bait around flats. Report submitted by Kody Moore, game warden stationed in Mayes County.
