Oklahoma fishing report: Wister crappie biting well, statewide conditions mixed

LeFlore County anglers are seeing good crappie action at Wister Lake this week, where James Williams, game warden stationed in LeFlore County, reported fish biting well on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Largemouth bass are fair on crankbaits and plastic baits, and blue catfish are fair on cut bait and shad around the main lake and river channel. Water temperature sits at 91 degrees and stained, with elevation normal and stable, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
