Persistent late-summer heat and intensifying drought conditions continue to impact livestock and agriculture markets across Oklahoma, according to the latest market report released by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
Drought conditions now cover 100% of the state, with severe drought expanding to over 62% and extreme drought reaching nearly 35%. Hay demand remains strong statewide as producers continue seeking supplemental forage.
