
Pocola reigned supreme again in the 2026 fast pitch softball LeFlore County Tournament, shutting out Panama, 10-0, in the championship game.

The win gave the Lady Indians their fourth straight LCT championship. Pocola finished the tournament undefeated.
Pocola removed any doubt early, scoring seven runs in the first inning to take control. Then, Ashlyn Barnes was dominant on the mound, throwing a no-hitter over five innings, giving up no runs with four strikeouts and two walks.
Adriana Mills doubled and was 2-3 with two RBIs and a run scored, Barnes went 2-3 with a double, Mahlya Masterson also doubled while doing 1-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, Brynleigh Riggs finished 2-3 with a RBI and run scored, and Kaegan Hickey scored three times.
Kaylee Brady took the loss for Panama. She went the distance, giving up eight hits, 10 runs (three earned), with three strikeouts and three walks. The Lady ‘Backs were hurt by seven errors.
In earlier games, Panama advanced out of the losers bracket, defeating Wister, 11-9, to advance to the finals. Wister opened the day with a 13-4 victory over Poteau in the first game of the day Thursday.
