POTEAU — A permit for a transitional living facility and an $804,429.27 construction bid for a trail project are among the items Poteau City Council members will consider during Monday night’s meetings at City Hall, 111 Peters St.
The Nov. 2 meetings begin with the Poteau Industrial Authority at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Poteau Public Works Authority at 5:35 p.m. or immediately after the Industrial Authority meeting. The City Council meeting is scheduled for 5:40 p.m. or immediately after the Public Works Authority meeting.
Council members will revisit Specific Use Permit 2026-01 for a transitional living facility at 104/106 Phillips Lane. The request, submitted for Greg Allison with 911 Outreach, was tabled at the October meeting.
The council also will consider approving the low bid of $804,429.27 from Treas Construction for work identified on the agenda as “Trail Phase.”
Another item calls for consideration of full-time benefits for street department employee Joe Langrehr.
All three governing bodies will consider consent agendas covering minutes from their Oct. 5 meetings, payment of purchase orders approved by the finance committee and October budget transfers.
The Public Works Authority and City Council agendas also include departmental and committee reports. The Industrial Authority agenda includes committee reports, with no additional specific business items listed.
