Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.

Ronnie was born July 20, 1951, in Poteau to Lucille (Clark) West and Ralph Barr. She passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Spiro.

A devoted nurse, Ronnie was known for her caring nature and unwavering dedication to others. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing pool, and tending to her beloved flower beds. Her love for music was evident in the joy she found singing in church alongside her sister, Linda Coker.

Ronnie had a heart of gold and was the kind of person who never let anyone down. She was the rock of her family—steadfast, nurturing, and strong. As a mother, she filled the roles of both mom and dad with unmatched grace and strength.

Survivors are her sons Larry Crossland, David Crossland and his wife Tonya; daughters Lisa Whittaker and her husband Bobby, Debbie Killian and her husband Scott; grandchildren Destiny Coker, Tyler Whittaker, Colton Whittaker, Lance Standridge, Mikayla Crossland, Braylee Crossland and Adrian Crossland; sister, Linda Coker; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Barr and Lucille West; brothers Ralph Barr and Donnie Barr; her great-granddaughter, Summer McKinney;  her great-great-grandson, Sebastian Lee Northern; and her nephew, Jonathan Barr.

Ronnie’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
