Slow pitch softball

Slow pitch softball regionals have been announced by the OSSAA with tournaments set to be finished by Thursday.

Pocola hosts a regional while Wister, LeFlore and Whitesboro are on the road.

In the Pocola regional, the Lady Indians are the top seed and host. They host Hartshorne in the opener at noon before playing the Haskell/Valliant winner or loser at either 2:30 or 3:45.

Wister was assigned to a Class 3A regional at Tushka. The Lady Wildcats play Apache at 1:15 p.m. following Tushka’s game with Drumright at noon. Winners play 2:30 p.m. while the losers play at 3:45.

LeFlore is at a Class A regional at Caney. The Lady Savages play Fort Cobb-Broxton at 1:15 p.m. following the Caney and Geronimo game at noon. Again, winners play at 2 with the losers playing at 3:45.

Whitesboro is in a Class A regional at Kiowa. The Lady Bulldogs take on Kremlin-Hillsdale at 1:15 p.m. after Kiowa plays Wilson (Henryetta) at noon. Winners play at 2:30 p.m. with the losers facing off at 3:45.
