Sooners drop rubber game as No. 15 Oklahoma fell in the series finale to No. 25 Florida Sunday afternoon in baseball by a final of 13-2 in eight innings.

After the Sooners (30-16, 12-12) tied the game at 2-2 in the fourth on Deiten Lachance’s second home run in as many games, Florida (31-17, 13-11) would go on to score the game’s final 11 runs.

OU pitching surrendered a season-high seven home runs in the game and tied a season-high with five hit by pitches. 

Sooner starting left-handed pitcher Cord Rager fanned seven in the game, his fourth appearance in 10 starts with seven-plus strikeouts.

The Gators took the series with the Sunday victory. OU fell to 12-12 in SEC play and 4-4 in conference series.
