On defense, Talihina has only allowed 13 points in its three games for an average of 4.3 points per game. Poteau, which had a bye last week, has only allowed 41 points this season, an average of 13.6 points per game.
All the county teams start district play this week, aside from Arkoma, which plays Quinton in a non-district game. Heavener hosts Hugo, Stilwell goes to Poteau, Spiro travels to Vian, Panama is at Chouteau and Pocola visits Warner.
