A semi-truck driver was killed late Saturday when his truck ran off U.S. Highway 59 and overturned south of Hodgen, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

Bobby J. Nash, 65, of Columbus, Mississippi, was driving a 2020 Mack semi-truck north on U.S. 59 about a mile south of Conser Road, just south of Hodgen, when the truck left the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail and overturned in a ditch.

The crash happened at 10:48 p.m. Saturday in LeFlore County. Nash was injured in the crash and later died. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time. There were no passengers in the truck.

Next of kin have been notified.
