Unemployment rates rose in 76 of 77 Oklahoma counties in the February report from the Oklahoma employment Securities Commission.

Dewey and Harman counties reported the lowest employment rates of 2.6% in February
LeFlore County’s rate for the month was 4.9 percent, up from 3.9 percent the previous year. In January, the county’s rate was 5.0 percent while December’s rate was 4.5 percent.
LeFlore County had a workforce of 19,677 for the month with 18,713 employed and 964 unemployed. That compared to January when the work force was 19,826 with 18,825 employed and 1,001 unemployed.
LeFlore County had the 61st highest unemployment rate in the state.
