Whitesboro to play Caney at state

Whitesboro to play Caney at the Class A slow pitch softball tournament at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Shawnee at Firelake.

The Lady Bulldogs enter the tournament with a 23-13 record and are ranked 13^th in the class. Caney is 38-8 overall and ranked first in the class.

The two teams played earlier in the season at the Soper Tournament on March 26 with Caney winning 12-2.
