Amanda Jo Riggins obituary

Amanda Jo Riggins of Healdton was born Aug. 29, 1979 in Tahlequah to Roy and Rhonda (Bussey) Teafatiller and passed away on Oct. 14, 2026 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 47.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center in Poteau, Oklahoma.

Amanda was a homemaker and longtime resident of area.  A devoted member of the Free Will Baptist Church, Amanda’s vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. She had a passion for playing softball and horseshoes, and her creative side shined through her wood burning projects.

She adored her dogs, lovingly referring to them as her babies, and enjoyed spending time with her family, often sitting on the front porch with her boys or taking her dogs for walks. Her radiant smile had the power to light up any room, and her love for her nieces, nephews, and dogs was as profound as that for her own children.

Amanda was a loving wife, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her memory will be cherished forever by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her husband, Kevin Riggins; her parents Roy Teafatiller, Rhonda Addington and husband Leon Addington; three dogs Cloe, Trump and Brutis; one honorary sister, Brandy Moore; one brother Stevin Teafatiller and family; two brothers-in-law Willie Hendrix and Shawn Riggins; one sister-in-law, Morgan Riggins; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Riggins; numerous other loved ones and friends whom loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Teafatiller.
