Today’s Blast from the Past features a photograph of the Bliss Building, located on the corner of East First Street and East Ave. D in downtown Heavener.
The building still stands today, even though it was originally built in 1910. Several other downtown buildings from that era no longer exist in downtown Heavener. The Bliss Building originally housed a furniture store in one portion, with the remaining space rented out to other businesses.
