Bobby “Bob” Winford Harris of Heavener was born Aug, 1, 1941 in Heavener to Ulous Bea and Susie (Cox) Harris and passed away May 11, 2026 surrounded by family at his home in Heavener at the age of 84.

Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale community, under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Bob was a longtime resident of the area. He was a dedicated member of Mt. View Baptist Church and a valued truck driver for the LeFlore County Highway Department District 3 until his retirement. Bob married the love of his life, Charlene, and they shared a wonderful 64 years of marriage.
He had a passion for wolf hunting and fishing, and cherished the time spent with his family. Bob particularly enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days with his friends from the County Barn. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Charlene Harris of the home; two sons Danny Bob Harris and wife Jerri of Heavener, and Jackie Dale Harris of Heavener; one sister Della Kissler and Paul Shipman of Keota, one grandson Tyler Manley and wife Grace of Heavener, two great-grandchildren: Jasper and Dani Jay Manley of Heavener, numerous other loved ones and friends that loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bea and Susie Harris; two sisters Catherine Kelley and Carolyn Dawson; and two brothers, Bud Harris and Midge Harris.
Pallbearers are Danny Bob Harris, Tyler Manley, Lance Yandell, Craig Olive, Zack Watts, Buck Lane, Steve Watts and Zack Cranfield.
Honorary pallbearers are Pete Underwood, Sam Watts, Charles Yandell, Jackie Harris, Robby Cranfield, Ray Doyle, Johnny Johnston, Fred Jones, Jasper Manley, Ceb Scott and Judd Morrison.
Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
