Darenda Ann Joseph, 66, of Poteau will have private family services at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

She was born Sept. 22, 1958 in Kahuku, Hawaii, to Vivian Labra and Edmund Woods and passed away June 5, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Survivors are her husband, Fred Joseph; daughter Charisse Maestri and husband Ryan; sons Trevor Hunt and wife Michele, Peter Marrero and wife Marilyn, and David Marrero; grandchildren Noah, Ethan, Alex, Benjamin, Rebekah, Ester, Saemson and Rhylee; father, Edmund Woods; sisters Tammy, Annette and Michele; brothers Joey, Jodi, Eddie Jr., Johnny and Stevie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Labra, and her brother, Brian.
