Mack Hall, former publisher of The Heavener Dispatch and President of State National Bank, died in 1947. He had been a Heavener resident since 1910.

He was the father of Ray Hall, who succeeded him as president of State National Bank, along with being the grandfather of Gene Hall, Jim Hall, Joe Hall, Sannie Wisdom and Jon Hall. Mike Hall, current president of the Central National Bank in Poteau was his great grandchild.
