Joey Dwain Karl, 75, of Pocola passed away on July 31, 2026 and was born on September 12, 1950, at his family home in Pocola, to Harlow and Juanita Karl.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. on Friday at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro with Nolan Wynn and Rick Allison officiating. Service is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.
Survivors are his nieces, Tanya Cusick and her husband, Rick, and Tamera Floyd and her husband, Brad; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlow and Juanita Karl; his sisters, Virginia McKinney and Joyce Conrad; and his brothers, James Karl, Fritz Karl, and Wendell Karl.
