Kathleen Linville of Heavener was born Sept. 21, 1962 in Santa Marie, California to James and Laurene (Edwards) Hilderbrand. She passed away on April 28, 2026 at her home in Heavener at the age of 63.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life is 2 p.m. Saturday at Heavener First Baptist Church in Heavener with Pastor Brock Hardin and Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Kathleen was a life-long resident of the area, a homemaker, and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church. She married the love of her life, Jackie, on Dec. 6, 1986. She loved animals especially cats, staying home, spending time with her family and friends. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family was the light of her life. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors are her husband of 39 years, Jackie Linville, of the home; one daughter Christina Vaughn and husband Buddy of Barling, Arkansas; two sons Casey Linville and wife Maritza of Poteau, and Cody Linville and wife Rachael of Hackett, Arkansas; three grandchildren Valarie Linville, Amara Linville, and Zeke Vaughn; two sisters Judy Downs and husband Ken of Casa Grande, Arizona and Opal Hilderbrand and companion Robert Dutton of Poteau; one brother Jim Hilderbrand and wife Sherry of Poteau; one sister-in-law Rita Lamphear and husband Bill of Gentry, Arkansas; and a special niece Joy Edwards of Heavener.

She was preceded in death by her mother,: Laurene Hilderbrand; and two brothers Ronald Edwards and George Hilderbrand.

Honorary pallbearers are Heavener Police Department, Poteau Police Department, and LeFlore County Sheriff Department.
