Heavener’s Kristy Shadwick struck out 17 batters and only allowed three hits in the Lady Wolves’ 10-0 win over Spiro Monday.
The Lady Wolves (8-1) are back in action Tuesday at Keys in another district game while Spiro (4-7) hosts Sequoyah-Tahlequah, also on Tuesday.
Just four days after throwing a no-hitter in a 12-0 win at Spiro, Shadwick was in control again, tossing the shutout with only three walks.
Mattie Barnes doubled and was 3-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs while Shadwick doubled and went 1-1 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Chesney Brinkley took the loss for Spiro. She went the distance, allowing seven hits and 10 runs, nine earned, with two strikeouts and five walks.
Cambrie England led Spiro’s offensive attack, going 2-3.
