POTEAU–The LeFlore County Tournament champion for fast pitch softball is scheduled to be crowned Thursday at the PARC.
Pocola (18-5) is undefeated and in the championship game. The Lady Indians only need one win for their fourth straight fast pitch county championship.
The Lady Indians knocked off top-seeded Panama (20-4) in Tuesday’s winners bracket finals (Read story).
Pocola’s opponent will come from the three teams remaining in the losers bracket.
Wister (15-6) plays Poteau (13-10) at 4 p.m. in the first game of the day. The winner of that game plays Panama at 5:30 p.m.
That winner plays Pocola in the first championship game at 7 p.m.
If the team that comes out of the losers bracket wins the 7 p.m. game, the “if” game will be played at 8:50 p.m. to decide the championship.
