LeFlore County weather forecast for 6-4-2026

An unsettled, slightly cooler pattern holds over LeFlore County through the weekend, with daily chances for showers and storms mixed in with breaks of sun.

Thursday stays warm with a high near 83 and about a 35% chance of showers and thunderstorms across the Poteau and Heavener areas. Skies turn partly cloudy overnight, with readings settling into the lower 60s.

Friday looks much the same — a high near 84 and roughly a 35% chance of afternoon showers and storms.

Saturday cools a bit to near 80 as rain chances climb to about 45%, so anyone with outdoor plans should keep an eye to the sky.

Sunday rounds out the stretch near 83 with a continued 45% chance of showers and storms.

Rain chances increase into the weekend, and any storm that develops could bring brief downpours and gusty winds.
