SOUTHEAST

Blue River: August 4. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, creek channels, points, river channel, rocks, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, punch bait, and worms around brush structure, channels, and rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Broken Bow: July 31. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 87°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, flukes, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, plastic baits, and spoons around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, points, river channel, and standing timber. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, channels, creek channels, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Hugo: July 31. Elevation is .5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, spotted, and white bass fair on jigs, plastic baits, topwater lures around channels, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, shad, worms around main lake, river channel. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, small lures around brush structure, channels, standing timber. Report submitted by Chance Phillips, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 94°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, and river channel. Channel catfish good on chicken liver and cut bait around inlet, riprap, rocks, and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork River: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 63°F and clear. Brown and rainbow trout good on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, midges, nymphs, plastic baits, small lures, and worms below the dam, creek channels, discharge, points, river channel, and spillway. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Pine Creek: July 31. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, flukes, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, channels, and standing timber. McGee Creek: July 31. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 83°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie good on minnows, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, main lake, and standing timber. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, and jigs around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, riprap, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, live bait, live shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around channels, docks, main lake, and rocks. Comments: Some days are tough due to the heat, so early mornings have been the most productive. Anglers are catching crappie in 10–12 ft. of water around brush piles and standing timber, with minnows producing the best results. Report submitted by Shay Loudermilk, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

Murray: July 28. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass on in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around dam, docks, main lake, and weed beds. Report submitted by R. Gillham, game warden stationed in Love County.

Sardis: July 31. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around brush structure, points, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait and shad around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, and standing timber. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

Texoma: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 83°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass good on live shad, sassy shad, slabs, and topwater lures around channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait around channels, points, and river mouth. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, coves, docks, and points. Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper are being caught on live shad and trolling sassy shad. Catfish are being caught near baited holes and mouth of the river on live bait and cut bait. Crappie are being caught near bridge supports and brush and in docks with brush. Report submitted by Garrett Beam, game warden stationed in Marshall County.

Wister: July 31. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 92°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on buzz baits, plastic baits around brush structure. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and hot dogs around channels. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Le Flore County.

NORTHEAST

Birch: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass hybrids slow on live shad around points. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Copan: August 1. Elevation is .5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, channels, main lake, and shorelines. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, PowerBait, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and shorelines. Report submitted by Lt. Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Eucha: August 4. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on plastic baits and topwater lures around brush structure, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. White bass fair on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, and spoons around coves, main lake, and points. Redear sunfish fair on crickets and worms around rocks and shorelines. Report submitted by Riley Willman, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Grand: August 4. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, and shorelines. White bass good on in-line spinnerbaits and spoons below the dam, main lake, and points. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, hot dogs, and shad below the dam, docks, river channel, and shorelines. Report submitted by Riley Willman, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Hulah: August 1. Elevation is .5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, PowerBait, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and shorelines. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, crawfish, goldfish, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, channels, creek channels, main lake, river channel, shorelines, and tailwater. Report submitted by Lt. Keystone: August 3. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 85°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on plastic baits around brush structure, docks, points, riprap, and standing timber. Blue catfish excellent on shad below the dam and main lake. Crappie good on minnows around brush structure. Report submitted by Tracer Wagner, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois River: August 1. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 71°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons, and worms below the dam, shallows, and shorelines. Comments: Fishing is fair for trout in mornings. Afternoon during generation is slower. Report submitted by Jerry Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Skiatook: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass hybrids fair on live shad around creek channels and points. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Spavinaw: August 2. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 79°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around flats and main lake. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Channel catfish slow on cut bait around main lake. Report submitted by Kody Moore, game warden stationed in Mayes County.
