Margie Irene Taylor, 78, of the Haw Creek community, passed from this world when God called her to her Heavenly home on Sunday, July 5, 2026. She has longed for that home for some time.
Feeder cattle prices trend higher again across Oklahoma this week
Feeder cattle prices moved higher across Oklahoma stockyards again this week, with steers over 800 pounds up 5.00 to 15.00 and calves seeing some of the strongest gains. Demand remained strong following a favorable Cattle on Feed report, while widespread rainfall continued to bring welcome moisture to pastures across much of the state. Here’s a look at this week’s numbers from across Oklahoma.

July 4 was celebrated with a lot of fanfare this year, as it was also the nation’s 250th birthday. I love this nation. I try never to take for granted the liberty we enjoy. Working in state government, I get a glimpse of how hard it must have been for our nation’s founders to come to agreement on documents such as the Declaration of Independence and, later, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
