Week 6 football features a couple of big games along with one that probably should never have been scheduled.

The big games have Poteau (3-2 and 1-1) hosting Ada (2-3 and 2-0) along with Pocola (3-2 and 1-1) visiting Coalgate (4-1 and 2-0)

Other games that are on for tonight include Panama (2-3 and 2-0) at Haskell (3-2 and 2-0). The ridiculous game of the week brought to you by the OSSAA has Heavener (1-4 and 0-2) visiting two-time Class 3A champion Lincoln Christian (4-1 and 2-0), a team that should realistically be playing in Class 4A against Broken Bow, Poteau and Sallisaw instead of Class 2A schools that stand little chance to compete.

The ridiculousness can be seen in Spiro. After going 0-10 last year in 2A-II, the Bulldogs were moved up to 2A-I this season. The Bulldogs forfeited the last two games and are expected to forfeit the remainder of the year. This comes from a school that has had one of the best traditions in southeastern Oklahoma.
