Arnold Ray Archey, 87, of Shady Point, passed away on May 29, 2026.
A funeral service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, with Jim Cook officiating. Burial follows at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Archey; children Rayeleen Thompson and husband Bruce, Jennifer Kelley and husband Jason, and Mark Archey and wife Lisa; grandchildren Kacie Thompson-Holt and wife Melissa, Madison Jackson and husband Drew, Makiah Johnston and husband Tyler, Micah Archey, and Kassie Kelley; great-granddaughter, Adalyn Grace Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Claudia Archey, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers are Bruce Thompson, Mark Archey, Jason Kelley, Drew Jackson, Tyler Johnston and Ronnie Bell.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmie K. Archey, Terry Hale, Lindsey Hall, Kirk Archey, John Mixon and Mickey Hale.
