Mostly cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of rain are forecast for Sunday in LeFlore County, with a high of 87 degrees and a low of 65.

Sunday’s temperatures are expected to remain above normal. The average temperatures for Sept. 27 are a high of 81 and a low of 53. The record high for the date is 93 degrees, set in 1981, while the record low is 36, recorded in 1975.

Saturday’s high reached 90 degrees, with a low of 68. No rainfall was recorded, leaving September’s total at 1.46 inches, well below the monthly average of 5.30 inches.
