We will have one more brutally hot day for LeFlore County on Sunday with a high of 97 degrees expected and a low of 70.
Temperatures will still be hot Monday, but we will be getting closer to average temperatures for late September in LeFlore County.
Average temperatures for Sept. 20 are a high of 83 with a low of 56. Records for the date were a high of 96 in 1972 and a low of 39 in 1981.
Saturday’s high was 99 with a low of 71.
