Pocola boys advance
Pocola boys advance to the Class 2A boys’ state basketball finals at 11:30 a.m. Saturday against top-ranked Dale.

Pocola will attempt to avenge a 63-38 loss to Dale in last year’s finals.
The Indians advanced with a 46-42 win in the semifinals over third-ranked Hooker.
Pocola trailed by a point before rallying in the final quarter to get the win. Dakotah Terrell led the Indians with 16 points while Heuston Stroops finished with 13.
Pocola’s girls were not as fortunate as the Lady Indians lost to Hartshorne, 53-46 in the girls’ tournament
Pocola, ranked second, finishes with a 24-3 record with two of those losses coming against Hartshorne, a fellow member of the Black Diamond Conference. Hartshorne is 28-1 with its lone loss coming earlier in the season to Pocola.
In her last high school basketball game, OU softball signee Allyssa Parker finished with 24 points to pace Pocola.
