Sooners shut out Ole Miss as No. 21 Oklahoma shut out Mississippi 2-0 Friday night at L. Dale Mitchell Park in baseball.
OU right-handed ace Kyson Witherspoon (W, 9-2) was again exceptional, going seven scoreless innings, surrendering one hit with eight strikeouts and three walks. Relievers Jason Bodin and Dylan Crooks finished OU’s third shutout of the season with Crooks collecting his 11th save of the year.
